Mule Riding and Driving Show
Starting Wednesday through Saturday …The Main Event!
Come watch those fabulous Mules! Mule performance classes range from Western Pleasure to English Dressage to Driving and everything in between. Speed events are fast and furious with Barrel Racing to the Fast Ass Express relay Race. As this is a family event, children of all ages will enter the arena with the aspirations of a champion, yet older folks are happy to ride in and enjoy their time with their animals.

Chuck Wagon Cook-Off and Feed
Look for authentic Chuck Wagon Cooking
Friday and Saturday Evenings
The first of its kind in the Pacific Northwest! Watch throughout the day as the cooks setup their wagons and fire pits. Once the dinner bell rings, dig into the best food in town. Tickets are limited so be sure to order tickets on your Contestant or Non-Contestant Registration Form or at the Show Office starting Thursday. $15 a person. See Information page.
Downtown Dayton Parade
Mules ride in the Alumni Parade on Saturday
Along with the Mule Show on the weekend, it is also “Dayton Alumni Weekend” for the local residents. At 10:00 am we join in with the celebration to ride and drive our mules in the Alumni Parade on Main Street in Dayton. Come line the streets and watch the mules go by! Western Trapping and Collectible Vendors
The “Gathering” because the West will never die!
Go shopping in this unique western collectible show located inside and outside the buildings. Collectors and vendors from as far as Kansas will display their items for sale or trade. More information.
Old Cowboy Auction and Tack Sale
Sunday – Let’s get that “stuff” out of the barn and sold!
Sunday July 21st at 1 pm will be an auction sale at the Fairgrounds in the indoor arena. Bring your new and used tack, antique farm and ranch equipment, collectables, carts and wagons…..anything related to the Horse or Mule World to sell. See the Sunday Tack Auction page.
Cowboy Church
Stop on Sunday morning
For Cowboy Church ceremony with live music. Sit quietly and enjoy the view overlooking the arena in the early morning.
Camping and Trailer Parking
Come and stay awhile
We have camping available at the Fair Grounds. 20 x 40 spaces will be issued, first come first served! See the Information page for ordering your space, whether you are a contestant or an observer.
